A good day, Plain and simple:). We took the kids on a field trip to BAM to see Poetry 2008: Expression in the Right Direction. It was awesome and creative and inspiring and the kids loved it. Then we all went to Mickey-D’s for food. Afterwards we had time to kill and no one wanted to go teach so we hung out in the park for like and hour and a half. And it’s a beautiful day! Coming home late is always a little sketch, specially after 3 transfers and the walking an extra 2 blocks and being tired and having a laptop, and being an uber good looking lady. Anyway, I try and keep my guard up and such and I'm walking down the street and this old Jewish guy is standing next to a car and says "good morning" and I sorta nod and he asks how I am and I nod and yawn and he says, "oh you're tired". I really should have done more today. However, I did enjoy a cookie baked in my toaster oven, which was accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a glass of cold milk served in a wine glass. Thinking back to the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. This was not the first day after the hurricane hit either, I think it was at least day 3. Or perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised, I don't usually watch a lot of TV and so don't see all of the gruesome visuals on some disasters. Labels: access to healthcare/medicines. A Classic Tour 學友 ‧ 經典世界巡迴演唱會. 已很多年沒有看演唱會，對上一次肯定是十年前。上次看的是張學友演唱會，今次也是。學友，絕對是我年代的經典，四大天王中，公認是唱得最好的，而且就算是其他三位的歌迷，也總會喜歡聽上學友的歌 (起碼和我結伴去看演唱會的好友如是)。無論是作品消量、演唱會的票、其至九十年代尾的音樂劇，都是稱冠。我由始至終，都最喜歡他的歌，其餘男、女歌手，我都看不上眼。今次的演唱會，一開始的那二十場是買不到票的，最後在加場時，是很辛苦打電話買到的，真的得來不易，而且是尾場，況且每天在Facebook看到友人們把演唱會的相片上戴，心裏真的是萬分期待。燈光的配搭很出色，有一些有趣的燈光果效更是我們坐「半山」、「山頂」的人才會看到的。眾所週知，學友的舞蹈不太出色(始終這不是他的賣點)，但一班舞者的舞蹈都甚好，很能配合歌曲的風格。每年第一個生日的家人，便是一月三日的鼠尾B了。轉眼間，鼠尾B便八歲了。 2016 – 恩典之路. 繼2011-2015的教會五年讀經計劃後，2016 我們起動了「新約速讀」，即用一年時間讀一...三位我口中的小魔怪、但其實是心裏的寶...
