My Flight: October 2007
http://thesolosongbird.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Oh Shirley, I think you've wound your curlers a little too tight.". Thursday, October 11, 2007. Is inescapable. In the brief time we have here on this earth we rarely get to know people as deeply as we would like. I wish I had a picture of us together. Why don't we at least have one picture? I love you. I'll go on loving you. Me in the rain or the wind. Or the moon up in the sky. The spin of the earth or the change of the tide. I don't know what brought us together. What strange forces of nature.

My Flight: April 2008
http://thesolosongbird.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Oh Shirley, I think you've wound your curlers a little too tight.". Wednesday, April 30, 2008. See how happy I could be. Monday, April 28, 2008. Flava of the Week. Today's flava is dedicated to the mango. I find that I'm bored out of my mind grading papers all day long and need some zip. I also find that I'm completely out of my element yet again and that this summer will continue to be an adventure in fear. Or the overcoming of it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). meganwelton.com: It's time to get my swim on!
http://do-what-now.blogspot.com/2011/05/its-time-to-get-my-swim-on.html
Wednesday, May 18, 2011. It's time to get my swim on! So my friend Jenna. Is crazy motivated. She's a full-time mom, self-taught photographer, and earlier this year started a weight-loss challenge for her readers (which I started but sadly will not win). Recently she posted about how she's dealing with an injury that's preventing her from running, so she went swimming instead. I've never seen anything like that before! Note to future doctors, even if you haven't seen that before, please, please lie.

meganwelton.com: Playing with blocks
http://do-what-now.blogspot.com/2011/02/playing-with-blocks.html
Tuesday, February 15, 2011. For Christmas, Mallory gave me a whole array of lovelies that perhaps I will tell you about sometime, and one of them was this beautiful mug. I love this mug. I drink out of it whenever possible, and I'm always bummed when it has to take its turn in the dishwasher. (But I'm grateful for dishwashers.). Here's the thing. I love stories. I love hearing a well-told story almost as much as I love telling. You are great and I always love your blog posts. :). Jeff W.'s Blog.

meganwelton.com: 2011: An Active Life
http://do-what-now.blogspot.com/2011/01/2011-active-life.html
Saturday, January 01, 2011. 2011: An Active Life. When I was in high school, I regularly participated in student journalism competitions. Yes, there is such a thing as competitive journalism. One year in particular, at a local competition at Fresno State, I thought I wrote a killer feature article. To where I was convinced I was going to win. As I recall, it was about the Gandhi statue that lives on the campus. Active: The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. As an editor, when I get a manuscript wri...
