Thursday, January 10, 2008. 1- In this one I had given up trying to soften the flash but I just loved the look on her face. 2- Lola in front of the Christmas tree at my Sisters. She had a horrible runny nose and I tried to get a nice photo of her with the balloon but this was the best I took. It's not the most amazing photo but it was one of those times where you look outside and see the vibrant colors and know that they are just moments from disappearing so you grab your camera and run out the door. I did take a bunch of shots of the moon but seeing I still don't have a tripod yet, none of them turned out well enough to show others. Great job capturing those sunset colors! I should have used shutter priority mode instead of aperture priority mode because I was trying to capture the movement of the water but this ended up being the best of all the shots I took. I'm feeling pretty good about myself tonight! I love aquarium pics - they have such a cool feel to them. Lola is so cute! As for the favoriting, it's always nice to get those ego boosts, isn't it? Thursday, January 3, 2008. Well I may be a little late getting my next 365/52 photo done. My batteries died last night when I was trying to take a photo and I can't find my rechargeables (we moved last month and DH did all the packing so we have no clue where he packed the batteries or the recharger). At least you had first decided on 52 weeks! This way, even if it takes you a week and a half to find the charger/rechargeables, you can wait until the end of the next week before putting up a new pic!

I didn't have a real urge to do any photography though till I looked beside my computer desk and saw this.
