Once upon a time...: May 2009

Once upon a time. Sunday, May 31, 2009. I always have Monday Blues. Perhaps it's becos I do not keep my regular sleeping hours on weekends. When Monday comes, especially before lunch, I am so lethargic that my eyes are lifeless, and my eyelids can't open, worse if I wear my spectacles. So, I try my best not to see my boss when the week starts. Wai and Mel with their evil twin grin. Me trying to be funny in the background. Did that make your day? Finally had the chance to go there. The place is really...

Once upon a time...: Cake cutting at CFA Auditorium
http://seagullyenyen.blogspot.com/2010/05/cake-cutting-at-cfa-auditorium.html
Once upon a time. Saturday, May 22, 2010. Cake cutting at CFA Auditorium. We had a different sort of birthday celebration 2 Saturdays ago. LS and I had to attend a concert, whereas I gave ZJ a pair of tickets to watch Andrea Bocelli "live" at the Botanic Gardens. We couldn't have the usual dinner-then-cake affair, hence I came up with this idea. Alex brought in the cake whilst everyone was rehearsing. Initially, wanted to get some pretty girl to walk in with the cake, but we had to make do.

Once upon a time. Saturday, February 20, 2010. Just had dinner with extended family and we had yusheng! I finally finished my tigers a few days before CNY. Got male and female! However, they are not attracting as much attention as the basket I made. Most visitors love my basket. It is now filled with individually wrapped bak kwa and nougats from Taiwan! Links to this post. Alex's birthday fell on a Saturday. Just nice for us to celebrate his birthday for him. We had dinner at Swensens! Links to this post.

Once upon a time. Sunday, August 23, 2009. Time is running out! Today must be my most hardworking day. Practised for like 1.5 hours each in the afternoon and night. Have been chasing my parents to their room at 10pm so that I can practise in peace. Yesterday wanted to practise too, but fell asleep at 9.30pm while playing Restaurant City on facebook. Wonder where I will go next.Bird park? Links to this post. Saturday, August 15, 2009. Was supposed to wake up early to jog, but ended up waking at 8am (which...

Thursday, November 30, 2006. Romance in the City. Recently, kuja and i had a conversation about some of our dear friends who are reaching the age where they should be seriously looking for their special "someone" to share their lives with. And honestly, if you asked me, it's really not easy these days. Darn actually it's freaking hard! Ultimately, the aim is to expand your social circle - far, far beyond the comfort circle of friends that you have. Like i've said earlier, this is truly a difficult task, ...

I just wanted to get outta S'pore, and go on a long trip", was her reply. Seems like too good a deal to miss ya? But then, here's the dilemma i'm facing:.
