Today was a pleasant day weather wise, temp of 18c, high cloud with sunny spells, short visit from 06.00 til 07.30. Are coming and going at the moment, the highest was around 20 and today there were 14 present but no sign of the Barnacle Goose. Running through this is Fowlea Brook. The site also has a play area and medium sized grass field, which is normally hijacked by feeding Geese!

There will be images from further afield, But they probably won't be of any better quality. Sunday, 12 September 2010. What a difference a day makes. Spotted a lovely specimen of. And took a couple of snaps with a gap of 24 hours.This was in plain view and was lucky enough to avoid the feet of of over zealous parents and kids. Eye To The Telescope.

There will be images from further afield, But they probably won't be of any better quality. Wednesday, 9 June 2010. Just a few slightly better shots of the Grey Plover. Not sure this bird is going to be stopping, as with all the rain we have had lately the water levels in the Tame Valley rise rapidly, which usually move any waders present on.

A quick visit to Broomey Croft after work paid dividends with a 1st winter Smew hidden away on the island at Broomey Croft. A search from the Skan hide for the Jack Snipe failed, But there were 2 normal Snipe. Friday, 29 January 2010.

There will be images from further afield, But they probably won't be of any better quality. Monday, 6 September 2010. Finally after the summer doldrums things are finally starting to move through. Also present were a single Little Egret and a Juvenile Yellow wagtail. The other 2 photos are of a Common Darter and the Canada/Greylag goose hybrid.
