Many of the people we met have traveled to other countries but haven't been to Perth on the west coast. It takes 9 hours to drive from Melbourne to Sydney and 10 1/2 hours to drive from Sydney to Brisbane. People are proud of their convict ancestors. It's amazing that Australia started as a penal colony. There is great diversity.

I'm not the greatest cook, hostess, housekeeper or interior decorator and there are always a long list of things that need to be cleaned, organized or repaired. Thursday, February 02, 2012. Duff had just finished his second round of chemo when Bridger and Cassidy came to stay for nine days, and we were wondering if Duff would feel up to it, but he was a great sport. Here he is playing Just Dance 3 with Bridger from the couch. Bridger loves that game and we played it an hour a day. At first, Bridger only wanted to dance to the Halloween song, but by the end of the week he liked the superhero song, the Egyptian song, and the lollipop song. Ah, sibling rivalry.

Monday, January 25, 2010. Happy Birthday, EmmieCat. For Emma's birthday, we rode the TRE into Fort Worth and saw the movie the Princess and the Frog. It was so much fun and I can't believe Emma is already 4. Luckily, I get to keep her home with me another year before she starts Kindergarten. Here are some pictures of her special day! I have resized the following picture 10 times and it won't change. I will try again later. Its amazing how much they love riding that train :).I know my girls do too!
