About knitting, crocheting, and others. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. I rip it out again! This is a 49% wool worsted weight yarn. I've got 16 balls and the first 4 balls have been ripped out for 4 times! Still, I won't give them up . they can still be crocheted, and projects are ready in my mind. How about a pineapple shawl? I've made one already in light purple - but not as presentable as I have expected. Life is much easier if everything can be ripped out like those unsatisfying projects! On my wish list.

About knitting, crocheting, and others. Thursday, July 20, 2006. I found myself impossible to knit conventional garment - I don't have the patience. Thanks to Mary Thomas's Knitting Book,. I am inspired to start knitting with fewer stitches - even 8! It is exciting to see the work grow . isn't it wonderful? It sounds awful to use dpns with such a few number of stitches and that's what I could stand for I also crochet. Similarly I can't start off the project with long foundation chains! On my wish list.
