Cynthias Place of Knitting and Quilting and Musings. My journey into knitting, quilting, and musings about my life. Friday, December 31, 2010. A Sad Ending to 2010. However, I had to be strong for my mother-in-law, so I wiped my tears and went to visit Mum. I did tell her about Gayle, but as my mother-in-law is 92 and is of sound mind, but now has a body that is dying on her, I can no longer use my mother-in-law as a Mum and dump all my worries and concerns onto her. I wanted to buy some green yarn as Ga...

I drove into Vancouver to pick up a weaving loom from. Birkeland Bros.Wool,. Cynthias Place of Knitting and Quilting and Musings. My journey into knitting, quilting, and musings about my life. Saturday, August 13, 2011. The Dog Days of Summer. My life has gotten very busy with dogs it seems. Millie still goes to day care 2-3 days a week, and Maggie and I walk or go to a safe dog park, but it's getting to the point where I'd just rather have both dogs with me and all the walking I do is great exercise for me. Undivided Heart: I Can Only Imagine
http://herundividedheart.blogspot.com/2011/01/i-can-only-imagine.html
Musings on balancing life and keeping the focus on God Psalm 86:11. I Can Only Imagine. Driving home from work Friday, the song I Can Only Imagine. It is wonderful to imagine what we will do when we are face-to-face with God himself, but what about now. God's presence is always here. His kingdom is all around us. Do we act that way? We are constantly in the presence of God, but do we fall at his feet, sing hallelujah or stand quietly in awe? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). As a pastor's wife, mom, an...

Undivided Heart: Life-goals???
http://herundividedheart.blogspot.com/2009/11/life-goals.html
Musings on balancing life and keeping the focus on God Psalm 86:11. Do you ever get those ideas that just stick in your brain and refuse to go away? I just finished reading Wild Goose Chase. I think I will take Mark Batterson's challenge and make a list of my life-goals. It might take me a little while and a lot of thought and prayer, but I think I will be better for it in the end. Can my first goal be to make a list of my goals? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Musings on balancing life and keeping the focus on God Psalm 86:11. Speaking of getting older, we took Bethany down to college just before Labor Day weekend. I clearly remember sitting in the high school gym for her freshman orientation thinking, "I am not old enough to have a child in high school."
