Yarn, purl, stitch. Sunday, October 6, 2013. I made myself this Zinnia skirt. I top stitched the pockets down as the seam wouldn't sit flat - again this linen cotton blend is a bit heavy, but I'm looking forward to making it again in a lighter fabric with more drape, perhaps even the particularly bright rayon I bought last year, or a silk chiffon for something special. Here is a picture of the back, with its almost invisible zipper. In a Shibui Heichi silk. Eadie's quilt, made in January 2013. I love...

Yarn, purl, stitch. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Having made my first Grainline Archer shirt. In November, when I saw talk of December being Archer appreciation month I thought it might be nice to make a second. I purchased and dyed some cotton voile navy blue using the Dylon Hand Dyes for another project and used the leftovers to make a sleeveless Archer for summer, following the alterations suggested by Jen. March 21, 2014 at 9:28 PM. This is beautiful work! Thank you for making and sharing!

While I probably wouldn't use the same yarn again, as it tends to leave threads on my clothes, it is amazingly soft and the ball of yarn I made, does look a lot like a ball of yarn:.
