The Knitting Mongoose: September 2011
http://knittingmongoose.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
A small mammal that can apparantly knit. A lot. Tuesday, 20 September 2011. A parcel was waiting for me at home last night - six balls of pure Welsh DK wool from Blacker Yarns ( http:/ www.blackeryarns.co.uk/. I'll have a go swatching tonight and see what it does. Posted by Fran McCarthy. Friday, 16 September 2011. A couple of weeks ago, sitting watching TV in the evening, I suddenly thought ‘I wonder what a knit-and-purl pattern pi-shawl would be like? I wonder if I can do it? Running through the idea, ...

http://veryotterly.blogspot.com/2007/01/last-big-splurge.html
Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Wednesday, January 03, 2007. The Last Big Splurge. How's this for a splurge of colour? Designs. Even after futher plying, this will still be a rather fine yarn, so this will be a rather long-term project. But I'm very much looking forwards to it! Posted by Alison at 1/03/2007 09:39:00 PM. Cambridge, United Kingdom. I blog about knitting, yarn, dogs and everything else here. And you can buy my hand-dyed yarns and fibres on Etsy. View my complete profile.

http://knittingmongoose.blogspot.com/2014/01/foolish-fool-foolery.html
A small mammal that can apparantly knit. A lot. Thursday, 23 January 2014. Yeah, you should be sad you felting b* * *rd. 65279; Full fooly fool thy foolery lies! The problem - dare I even breathe it? With all social networks is that they often contain people. All sorts of people. Sometimes people being stupid, in public, where I cannot prevent them. Hm So, the first comments said 'Hey! Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Sunday, November 19, 2006. It's not a proper weekend unless. You end up muddy to the knees. Posted by Alison at 11/19/2006 04:05:00 PM. Ota, that is one pooped out dog :) And she sure looks like she had fun with those dirty legs and paws :). Jet does this too, but I think he only does it so I can rub down his legs with the towel afterwards. :). Bear won't go near a puddle, he's a wuss as he won't even go out in the rain.lol. yarninmypocket: New skirt!
http://veryotterly.blogspot.com/2007/01/new-skirt.html
Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Sunday, January 07, 2007. The pattern is Vogue V7607. View C; I originally bought the pattern for the other view(s) with the cascade at the front of the skirt, which I still intend to make, but in this case I had fabric to get rid of, and thought it would suit the other style better. The reason for the amused grin in the previous photo is that there was someone else wanting in on the action. Posted by Alison at 1/07/2007 05:07:00 PM. Cambridge, United Kingdom.

yarninmypocket: Knit what you love; love what you knit
http://veryotterly.blogspot.com/2007/01/knit-what-you-love-love-what-you-knit.html
Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Friday, January 05, 2007. Knit what you love; love what you knit. Or do you get ultra-picky and only knit garments you adore in stitches you find fun? Just because you're a knitter, does that mean you have to knit all the sweaters you own? Apart from considerations like 'this yarn is so rough it rubs blisters on my fingers' or 'working at this gauge is physically painful'). Are we just too impatient? Or too easily bored? Too easily distracted, maybe? Folks who ar...

Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Tuesday, January 09, 2007. Yes, yes, I know. But this comes under rule 2c. I knew I was going to need more yarn to finish Lily. And this is it. Photos later, as I'm at work now, and though I do have my camera, I'm not photographing yarn (or the completed sleeve that was brought along as colour comparison) in the workplace. Patons diploma gold, dark green: 100 g, 240 m. Cygnet wool rich 4ply, sagey khaki: 50 g, 205 m. Oh, and Mary. Cambridge, United Kingdom. My na...

yarninmypocket: Next up...
http://veryotterly.blogspot.com/2006/12/next-up.html
Knit from your stash! Knitters in the UK. Monday, December 04, 2006. The same yarn, swatched in both stockinette and moss stitch. Of course, Debbie Bliss book seven has no adult sweaters in the Maya, in moss stitch. There is a sweater, 'Lily', knit in moss stitch but a different yarn. It's quite cute, though:. Lily, from Debbie Bliss #7. Posted by Alison at 12/04/2006 06:45:00 PM. I agree, the moss stitch swatch looks much better, but moss stitch? Good luck with the yarn supply! Cambridge, United Kingdom.

This shows how long it will be as that is the completed side then. This is it as I started off again and finally. I need Dr Wytchs help with that though. Posted at 09:10 PM in cleaning.
