Out The Window: August 2010
http://fostersheepfarm.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 27, 2010. Fair week is really more than a week. There are the weeks before fair when we are teaching our sheep to walk on halter, and the week before fair when we work on the fleeces to get them looking there finest. We exhibited our sheep at the Altamont Fair last week. Abby and Liz worked hard with our sheep. We had such a great time! Unfortunately, Abby is back to work and will miss the rest of the show season. We will miss her! I hope that I will see you there. Links to this post.

Thursday, July 22, 2010. We have a winner! Betsy has finished her vest. I am a little bit behind. I am about to seperate the back and front. How about you? Are you in the challenge? All it takes is 4 skeins of yarn and a $3-$4 item for the gift basket. Betsy didn't draw yet, but she will be the first to pick a prize. There are two prizes from the shop. One for the vest with the least errors, and one for the vest that fits the best. Links to this post. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Now on to the fun part of the...

Out The Window: March 2012
http://fostersheepfarm.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 13, 2012. This weather is crazy! This is a picture from this blog a year ago, hard to believe that right now I have daffodils up and budded! Won't it be great if we have our own daffodils for the first day of spring! A group of us are working on the mystery shawl by Jen Lucas. My has taken a terrible turn. It has a twisted edge that I am thinking about taking out, or will probably take out, or I will have to take out, maybe. In the barn the lambs are growing like crazy! Links to this post.

They call me Yarn.: April 2014
http://theycallmeyarn.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
They call me Yarn. Don't worry, I do other stuff too. But mostly yarn. 111 Projects in 2011. Monday, April 21, 2014. Monday Mario, Again. Spring Break is over and the birthday is fast approaching, so it's time to get down to business on this blanket. I took Mario to knit night last week for about 3 hours of work in the privacy of a busy coffee shop because he hadn't been out of the back of my closet in a week and I was getting twitchy. I'll get a few hours to work on him tomorrow too but Wednesday-Friday...

The VanDerlofske's: July 2012
http://throughthewaves.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 27, 2012. Here's a look at what we V's have been up too. We had A's first birthday party! Okay, that was back in April but I haven't had a chance to upload pics yet. It was an absolutely beautiful day for a party, the birthday girl was feeling more than a little under the weather thanks to her 12 month shots but she had a good time anyway I think :). We planted a garden for Mother's Day. We built a fort and played Super Heroes for Father's Day. We went Strawberry Eating (I mean Picking).

Out The Window: April 2012
http://fostersheepfarm.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. This year for Easter the menu didn't include lamb. We did, however, have some of the cuties lamb cupcakes. Made by a shy member of the Foster Family, they were a hit with young and old alike! They are easy enough to do, just frost as normal and embellish with marshmallows. The early spring has sheep out grazing here much earlier than normal. Thanks to Liz and Jason! We hope to have life back to normal here real soon. In the meantime, thanks for the patience. It's secret in that everybody knows about it except for my six year old, Spike. But what is it you ask? As far as he knows, just a pile of squares. But when Spike is at school, I get to work. And today began here:. It's going to be the Granny Square Mario Bedspread. Today during school Mario got a hand! April 6, 2014 at 2:38 PM.

Note: The Times Union is not responsible for posts and comments written by non-staff members. This is really funny! On June 18, 2010 at 5:54 PM. I’m having way too much fun. Sorry, but these snippets are hysterical so much so, I had to put music over the first one because I was laughing so loud. Loves water. Today, on a run to Agway I spotted a Griffin size tub and had an idea. Aw, Griffy loves his tub! Okay, I’m done now. Ps No crias yet. Wow. Keyword search across all the entries in this blog. Sorry, y...

The VanDerlofske's: Geocaching ~ Summer Bucket List
http://throughthewaves.blogspot.com/2013/07/geocaching.html
Monday, July 15, 2013. Geocaching Summer Bucket List. A couple weeks ago, we decided to get out of the house and playing in nature for a while. There are a couple of Earth Caches in a preserve that isn't to far from us (one that we had no idea existed before geocaching lol). The next cache we went in search of was more interesting by far (though if the ruler had been in place it would have been neat to take the girls back during a dry spell to physically see the difference in the creek level.). Live, Lau...
