YARNTAGRZ!: Tagging the Chair: the Process
http://yarntagrz.blogspot.com/2012/05/tagging-chair-process.html
Our town needs some yarn whimsy. Three years after a major flood devastated our downtown and some residential areas, things still aren’t back to normal. We’d like to add beauty and handmade art to street fixtures- lamp posts, sign posts, parking meters, etc.- that are merely functional, mass-produced, and- let’s face it- rather ugly. Crocheters and knitters are welcome! Leave a comment, or join our group on Facebook (Yarntagrz). Friday, May 4, 2012. Tagging the Chair: the Process. Safe Passage on Ashland.

Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars. Writing, Crafting, Randomness. Tuesday, March 15, 2016. General Update: Writing and Crafty Goodness. In craftiness I've been going to back to a lot of crochet. I'm working on the Storm Weather Vest which was published in the August 2014 issue of Crochet World Magazine. It's on my ravelry. Page of course. I'm using a lovely Red Heart Soft yarn which is not at all like their "Super Saver" acrylic, and for that I am thankful. I'm still working on my coat.

Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars. Writing, Crafting, Randomness. Sunday, October 18, 2015. This month I have been on a bent to get all of my unfinished projects finished. I have a bad habit of getting most of the way done with a thing and then picking something else up. I often then forget to go back to the previous projects and they pile up eventually. I've manged to finish the Tunisian beaded scarf (class was originally taken 6 or so months ago). I've put aside writing crochet and knit pa...

Rambling Happenstances and Random Craftaculars. Writing, Crafting, Randomness. Monday, November 19, 2012. Super Simple Fingerless Gloves. Hi everyone. The Birchbark Slippers. Didn't work out for me. That is entirely my fault however. I made them too big because I was overthinking the whole thing. I try to modify patterns before actually following them and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Finished Fingerless glove. Finished piece is about 7" long. I decided to use this bright scrap yarn to sti...

Yarn Tag Yarns
Tuesday, December 8, 2009. This is a story of how an innocent little idea can take over your life. On Dec. 1, a bright sunny morning, I was starting to feel the Christmas mood. I thought how fun it would be to have a little knitted elf hat on one of our fence posts in front of the house. Yes, I like that. But now don’t the other fence posts feel sad that they don’t have a hat? 160; Lo and behold, I counted 25 fence post- just the number of days until (including) Christmas! Saturday, December 5, 2009.

Saturday, January 28, 2012. Ooh, Shiny Things. Some days I swear I have ADD, or maybe months. It's been quite some time since I blogged, mostly because there is a certain sameness to my days: work elsewhere, work in my mill, get further behind on housework, life is pretty good actually. Only 2 loads of laundry done, 1 in dryer, another in washer, set up Roomba in living room, sort of tidied up kitchen (already can't tell), dusted (sort of) the living room. What else did I do?
