Me and My Iffah. Monday, October 24, 2005. A week of Iffah's firsts. The week she turned 8 months was an eventful one, full of Iffah's firsts. A mixture of some developmental ones, as well as incidents which I hope is the first and . the last. Yesterday, it was the first time in all her 8 months that she went through the day - without pooing. A few days ago, I also managed to notice that she could sit upright unsupported. Oh yes, and there was this time that she actually bit off paper and swallowed them.

Me and My Iffah. Wednesday, June 21, 2006. My throat hurts and my head is spinning, and I am downing loads of water, vitamin C, lozenges, honey and panadol. Don't see the point of taking MC cos I don't want to miss my preparatory classes this week. Yikes . And today when i checked out the posting list for next week's enhanced school experience. my name wasn't there! I hope they settled this botch-up soon cos I do not wish to end up with an unwilling teacher mentor who was only informed at the last minute.

Iffah't two upper teeth is now making its way through her gums and her third lower teeth is also very much visible.But being one who is often quite vain when it comes to appearance, I am quite concerned with her not so- perfect looking teeth. Me and My Iffah. Friday, March 31, 2006. Its only after her 1st birthday that two-way communication gets more frequent. As an older baby, she understands certain words but would usually merely responds with hand actions to show she understands. These days, she is the one who speaks or gestures first. Here are just some of the words she can gesture or speak. ( not including sounds which doesn't mean anything or perhaps which I myself have not figured out what they mean ). The last time she was so scared was a few months back when the Puppet Lion appeared in the Baby Einstein VCD I bought for her. Since then I have not played it again.
