It’s 253 yds of sport-dk weight super-soft merino ( 4 oz). When I spun the singles, they were as soft as Malabrigo lace. I think the finished yarn is pretty close in softness too. Wow – that many spinners live near me? I also found some yummy stuff to buy there. Check this out. It’s a wool silk blend (exactly percentage not sure). A Book and Some Yarn. This past weekend, I went to Asheville, NC for SAFF 2009. This year, the drive was a bit longer coming from Atlanta instead of Knoxville. I met one of my friends who live in South Carolina in Greenville (SC), and we drive the rest of the way up to Asheville together. 6 oz of BFL from River’s Edge Weaving Studio.
