Eigentlich sollte sie eine griechische Göttin werden. Da die Schweiz nur einen einzigen Hochseehafen hat (Basel) und jeder Name pro Hafen nur einmal vorkommen darf, waren die Göttinnen alle schon vergeben. Also war Fantasie gefragt. Für uns als Griechenland-Fans musste es einen Bezug zu diesem schönen Land geben. Ausserdem sollte der Namen für eine Segelyacht weiblich sein oder doch wenigstens so klingen. Aus dem Piemont. Wir sind seit 1988 eine tolle bernisch-luzernische Crew. Das Segeln haben wir aber erst 2004 wiederentdeckt ein gewisser Dani Schürch aus Utzenstorf war daran nicht ganz unschuldig beim Zügeln für einen Kollegen sprach er von einem Bootsplatznachbar, der ein H-Boot zu verkaufen habe. Ferien und Törn-Ende in Südkroatien. Nachdem wir das Boot in einem beinahe 40h dauernden Schlag von Griechenland überführten, blieben uns rund 10 Tage, um das südliche Kroatien zu erkunden. So weit in den Süden gelangten wir vor einem Jahr nicht. Für den Juli rechnet man im Mittelmeer eigentlich mit langweiligem Wetter: Heiss, wolkenlos und moderater Wind am Nachmittag. Wir haben uns einen Traum erfüllt. Und einen halbjährigen Segeltörn unternommen. Die Reise führte uns im 2009 während 6 Monaten von Slowenien über Kroatien und Italien nach Griechenland. Im 2010 brachten wir die Yacht zurück nach Kroatien - nicht ohne vorher noch die wunderschönen Inseln zwischen Dubrovnik und Split zu erkunden.
