Daddy Gamer: For the love of seams
http://daddygamer.blogspot.com/2008/06/for-love-of-seams.html
The art of gaming while being a parent. Måndag 16 juni 2008. For the love of seams. These last couple of years one of the big technical improvements in game is the seamless worlds, like World of Warcraft. Everything sticks together without any loading screens and you get the massive feeling of being in a real world. Some games would greatly benefit from this - like Witcher - where the seams break the pace a lot. But there are also games that makes the most out of the seams instead. The good thing with th...

Daddy Gamer: oktober 2008
http://daddygamer.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
The art of gaming while being a parent. Fredag 10 oktober 2008. Long time since I made a tanking post but here is one again. The reason for that is I have started playing Warhammer online (yes I know i jump around alot) and rolled a Chaos warrior class called Chosen. Incredibly cool class to play. From the experinece I presume it will be a bit similar to Death Knights in WoW. But how is the tanks in PvE. On sologrinding we are good. Better than good I would say, downtime is about zero. But I ...Daddy of ...

Daddy Gamer: Is levelling the wrong path?
http://daddygamer.blogspot.com/2008/04/is-leveling-wrong-path.html
The art of gaming while being a parent. Onsdag 16 april 2008. Is levelling the wrong path? MMORPG is all about getting better and doing cooler stuff. No problem with that. But I do wonder - is levelling actually the right thing? Ok, I really liked to level up my first WoW-charachter, my paladin Gawain, to lvl 60. And then I levelled up my warrior to level 70. 1-60 was boooring but done with the 60 to 70 span to look forward to. Reason for 10 new levels. Ok, that settled. I don’t have the solution f...

Daddy Gamer: november 2007
http://daddygamer.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
The art of gaming while being a parent. Måndag 19 november 2007. The joy of ass wippin'. I have seen the light. Well, at least I have seen the snows, grass and lightnings of Alterac valley, Arathi basin and Eye of the storm. After speccin for arena I have had an enormous boost in game satisfaction. Doing arena is tremendous fun since it is short, intense and very demanding on proper tactics. And if I get bored I might just buy something less pricey. But a new weapon would be great. How about you guys - w...

Angus Meat-shield: January 2008
http://angusmeatshield.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
World of Warcraft from the perspective of a Protection Warrior, Restoration Druid and a Shaman who's done it all. Friday, January 25, 2008. For I R Leafy! I'm levelling a Druid to be Resto, mainly to get my main (Taurack) out of Resto spec and back into the face-smashy goodness that is Enhancement. Pochani has been Feral his whole career so far and has been quite successful, so the switch will come with a learning curve. I've done a lot of research on Resto4Life. I did however learn a few good things whi...

Angus Meat-shield: Improving performance with Macro’s pt.1

World of Warcraft from the perspective of a Protection Warrior, Restoration Druid and a Shaman who's done it all. Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Improving performance with Macro’s pt.1. An often over-looked aspect of the game is macros. Either you may think that you have to be a programmer or someone with a working knowledge of computer programming, or you may just think that it’s really not worth the effort, that it really can’t make that much of a difference. Time their up on every. For some great details.

Angus Meat-shield: Healing as a Shaman – Talents
http://angusmeatshield.blogspot.com/2008/02/healing-as-shaman-talents.html
World of Warcraft from the perspective of a Protection Warrior, Restoration Druid and a Shaman who's done it all. Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Healing as a Shaman – Talents. Personally, I like to start from the ground up. In my opinion, talent selection is the foundation of any good character build as it can often dictate not only which spells are preferred, but also which stats you should be gearing for. Need any work, as such, you’ll often see Resto Shamans with 56, if not all 61 point in the tree.

The art of gaming while being a parent. Torsdag 27 september 2007. Attumen down with ease. Yesterday was the first time the non core raid (or the B-team) visited Karazhan. The raid was decided and announced on Monday. We had immense problems with getting people to join, mostly I think because the A-team goes Kara on Friday and they have started to have sign-up spots for the dps. Tanks and healers are pre selected as usual. Well Back to Karazhan. We cleared the stables good. No problem what so eve...Then ...
