Jane smith, law student. Brief thoughts →. August 11, 2008 · 4:42 pm. It has been awhile since my last post. I finished up my job and have barely had time to sit down and even read email, let alone blog about what is happening in my life. I have less than two weeks until classes start, and I can feel the time starting to close in on me. I am starting to feel anxious. I know that I posted about this before, but it’s definitely creeping in much more than it had been. Brief thoughts →. 2 responses to “.

Jane smith, law student. Anxiety creeping in →. July 28, 2008 · 4:49 pm. I’m finished with my job, so now I have a few weeks to clean my house, organize my life, and prepare for law school to start. What I want to do is take my schedule and figure out where my classrooms are by going to the law school in person. I want to spend the day walking around the building and neighborhood and hanging out in the library. I’ve heard law school makes you regress a bit, but man…. Filed under 0L summer. You are commen...

Jane smith, law student. July 15, 2008 · 11:39 am. Before law school starts, I have another event to look forward to. I will cease working full time at my non-law job, and to be honest I cannot wait. I have less than a month to go, and it will be such a relief to be finished with this chapter of my life. I’m looking forward to moving on with my life, and never looking back. Filed under 0L summer. Jane smith, law student. Two thoughts →. August 20, 2008 · 11:21 pm. I can’t believe that school has started. Remember what I said about the anxiety? Well, it’s shifted. It’s a whole new sort of anxiety – waiting to be called on during class. Professor Torts has this “brilliant” system of calling on people who share the same first letter of their last name. Thankfully, my letter has not yet been up. I’m sure that my days in that club are numbered, though. Good luck to everyone starting next week! Enter y...

It is hard to swallow that you may no longer be the best when that’s exactly what you’ve grown accustomed to. July 1, 2008 · 2:54 pm. The future doesn’t have to be so bleak. There is some research out there, but nothing that is overly alarming. Filed under law school. June 25, 2008 · 1:12 pm. I’m sure that I will continue to raise the bar on the level of difficulty I can endure, and that many tasks in...

Jane smith, law student. An enjoyable endeavor →. August 29, 2008 · 12:44 pm. 1) Why don’t gunners realize it when they correct law professors that law professors don’t like that very much? 2) Why was battery such a difficult concept for my torts class to grasp? An enjoyable endeavor →. 2 responses to “. August 30, 2008 at 2:02 am. As for #2, i have no idea…battery was always pretty easy for me to figure out. then again, i’m kind of a torts geek. Jane smith, law student. August 31, 2008 · 12:46 pm. I thrive on challenge. I thrive on adversity. Both of these are probably very good things, what with me being a law student and all.🙂. I really think that law school is going to be an enjoyable endeavor. It’s a lot of work, and it’s not just busy work. It’s real work, stuff that is difficult to grasp and understand. And I love it.
