On the verse, A witch you shall not let live. Although there are a lot of interesting verses in the parshah of Mishpatim. This verse sticks out like a sore thumb. It sparked my interest, so I decided to speak about it. I had also given a presentation on this topic at the end of my mekhinah. Sources for that presentation. Links to this post.

A Rabbinical Student's Blog. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Visit consisted of, on Friday afternoon, of visiting the Hartford Jewish Federation. And speaking with the staff member in charge of allocations. I hadn’t previously known about how Federations allocated their money, so it was interestingly enlightening (and not so mysterious anymore). I also learned about other elements about federations. After that, we visited a lady in a hospital. That evening, I gave the Friday night devar Torah. Links to this post.
