Thursday, 22 April 2010. Sustainability – It’s the Challenge of a Lifetime……….and Clapham is rising to it. Welcome, welcome.there are so many exciting things going on in and around Clapham at the moment that it felt only right that we should have an informal place to catch up, share, contribute and record all our progress in the hope that it could 'spread the word' and celebrate what can be done when a community pulls together. from here to sustainability....a village tale: clapham is a buzz....
http://fromheretosustainability.blogspot.com/2010/06/clapham-is-buzz_23.html
Wednesday, 23 June 2010. Clapham is a buzz. Finally the weekend of the bee keeping had arrived. A group of interested souls turned up at the village hall, clutching their marigolds eagerly awaiting their introduction into the world of bee keeping. Julia and Martin Hoggett of beeEd. Kicked off the 3 days on Friday evening with an talk. Day 2 began bright and early starting with the basics and the life cycle of bees. We also got a chance to try on various suits and gloves to get a feel before the hive visit.
