Inside Alec's Head: June 2009
http://insidealecshead.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2009. What a Happy Ending. Thursday, June 4, 2009. In the book Caucasia by Danzy Senna I have found a motif that we never brought up in class. It’s actually kind of hard to notice, since the idea really doesn’t have anything to do with the main story. The motif that I found is the action of Birdie hugging herself all the time. Specifically, she hugs her knees a lot. Two specific examples are below:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Yea, here's my blog! Angela's Blog of College Lit. Hello My n...

Angela's Blog of College Lit. This is where I express my opinions on topics we are discussing in class. I hope it is enjoyable and somewhat entertaining for people who read it! Tuesday, April 21, 2009. I learned the truth at seventeen. That love was meant for beauty queens. And high school girls with clear skinned smiles. Who married young and then retired. The valentines I never knew. The Friday night charades of youth. Were spent on one more beautiful. At seventeen I learned the truth. Exceeds accounts...

Inside Alec's Head: Run
http://insidealecshead.blogspot.com/2009/05/run.html
Thursday, May 28, 2009. June 4, 2009 at 10:37 AM. I feel the same way, I liked the ending because it left us to make up our on ending, but at the same time I like knowing what the author was planning. Of course, if they did an ending I didnt like, I would be upset too. no one wins! June 4, 2009 at 10:47 AM. June 9, 2009 at 9:45 AM. The ending was very interesting indeed, the way the other women helped out a woman in distress was very nice to see because I like stories with happy endings. I play the elect...

Inside Alec's Head: What a Happy Ending
http://insidealecshead.blogspot.com/2009/06/what-happy-ending.html
Tuesday, June 9, 2009. What a Happy Ending. June 9, 2009 at 8:46 AM. Yes I definitely have to agree with you. The author seems to put the ending together to make the reader happy. Birdie hasnt seen her father and sister in years, and all of a sudden she finds them in Oakland and not only that but they set up times when they can frequently see each other. It does seem like the ending is too good to be true. June 9, 2009 at 9:41 AM. June 9, 2009 at 9:44 AM. June 9, 2009 at 9:48 AM. Yea, here's my blog!

Inside Alec's Head: Rebels of Today

Wednesday, May 13, 2009. May 13, 2009 at 10:45 AM. Indeed, since our parents were the ones that rebelled against their parents, apparently rebellion skips a generation. But I too feel like I know what was going on with Marji when she had to leave Iran and do all of the stuff that parents today would never let their kids do. May 28, 2009 at 10:56 AM.
