I can't get my ass out the door! I can't get my ass out the door! I can't get my ass out the door! I've taken to eating a bowl of oatmeal or granola in the morning. I used to hate oatmeal until I discovered that syrup could be replaced with butter and cheese and salt. With each haircut I've received since January my hair has become increasingly more Joan Jett on a good day, Elvira on a bad day. Not even the magnificent flatiron can save me now. 2007-08-05 01:40 am (UTC).

August 19th, 2008 - sheer indulgence. August 19th, 2008. Just cashed my $150 settlement check from Fresh Abode. Yesterday they offered me $75. Ha! I received double after the mediation conference. I think I could have gotten more, but her fat friend Cristina was starting to intimidate me and I didn't relish the idea of being locked in that tiny room with them for the next four hours until our hearing before a judge. How do people let themselves get like that in Seattle of all places? August 19th, 2008.

Destroyed - sheer indulgence. Left work early yesterday to go home and sleep. It feels like someone has been running sandpaper along the inside of my throat everytime I swallow, cough, breath too heavily. Earlier I sounded like the twin sisters on the Simpsons. But now my voice is completely destroyed so that when I try to talk my voice cracks all over the place and I sound like I'm about to dissolve into tears. Dangit.
