Keeping Score in Year Four. Thursday, 2 April 2015. Holy Week in Year Three. This week we are remembering the events leading up to Jesus' death, before his resurrection on Easter Sunday. On Monday as a school we gathered to reflect on Palm Sunday in the assembly area. The Kinders waved palm branches and called out Hosanna in the highest, while one of them acted as Jesus on his donkey, as he came into Jerusalem. We wish everyone a happy and holy Easter. Keeping Score in Year Four. Thursday, 9 April 2015. 100 years of ANZAC will be commemorated on Saturday 25th April 2015. Year Three will be focussing on the ANZAC traditions during week one literacy lessons. We are encouraging students to do their own investigations and research into the ANZACs. Thursday, 18 June 2015. Down in the forest. In English we have been discovering our five senses to write poems. Tuesday, 12 May 2015. On Monday, Year 3 went to Manchester Museum to be dinosaur detectives. First we had a look at a few fossils. Then we went to a dinosaur crime scene and had to work out who was a victim and a suspect from the evidence. With the evidence we had to decide who was guilty of the crime.
