Year in the Sun (hopefully)

Year in the Sun (hopefully). Wednesday, 9 July 2014. PNG - Hagen to Kompiam (Week One). Loved it though :) . and probably went a little bit overboard with the food purchasing . but there was no way I was going to starve while I was there! I think by the end some of the workers were taking pity on me - haha - and came and helped me try to steer my way overloaded trolley. Next stop was the Hagen Vege Markets - totally amazing place! Bathroom Stop . Not bad surroundings for it! We arrived at Kompiam a littl...

Year in the Sun (hopefully): From Darwin to Tufi

http://yearinthesun.blogspot.com/2014/07/from-darwin-to-tufi.html

Year in the Sun (hopefully). Tuesday, 8 July 2014. From Darwin to Tufi. So I gave up trying to keep this current over in PNG as the internet just would not co-operate with me very well, and then halfway through a cockatoo actually ate the wifi cord where I was staying and so it really went downhill after that . So stay tuned and quite a few posts should all come up in the next few days-week :). After leaving Darwin I headed back to Queensland for a few days before taking off overseas to Papua New Guinea.

Year in the Sun (hopefully): April 2014

http://yearinthesun.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html

Year in the Sun (hopefully). Monday, 28 April 2014. So after a hectic week of uni type things the glorious four day Easter weekend was soon upon us! Was very excited as it meant that I was heading down to spend the weekend with the Staffords (or at least half of them .). Sunset at the Yacht Club. Playing with filters for Sunset. After a bit of a debacle to try and find some cabs home (as we left it far to late to get the last bus back) it was quickly pack for the bus in the morning and crawl into bed.

Year in the Sun (hopefully): May 2014

http://yearinthesun.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Year in the Sun (hopefully). Tuesday, 27 May 2014. So, I got a little lost in trying to write this and have tried to kind of categorise it . After the fun adventuring of the weekend away in Litchfield and Kakadu . plus the detour home via Edith Falls, the hospital seemed rather dull by comparison. However I went on with what we were doing on the wards and sat in the clinics I needed, learned all sorts of bits and pieces and generally continued to learn as I went. They will take patients on who are termin...

YITW

A five-piece collective born and raised in the city of Sint-Niklaas, fronted by a charismatic preacher Shaun Van Steen has already been on several musical adventures. While all of the members were spreading their musical attainments with different bands, Shaun was breeding a new and exciting concept, with which he has mounted several stages by now. Intense strumming, no nonsense rock-'n-roll or heart-rending blues music: Year In The Wild can't be pigeonholed. 12 augustus 2017 19:00u. Made by Studio Kent.

ObserVA | A year of observing nature in rural central Virginia

A year of observing nature in rural central Virginia. Some info about me and this project…. January 11 – Thanks and farewell (for now). January 11, 2014. And now, having posted all of those seasonal mashup photos, the time has come for me to draw the curtain on this incarnation of ObserVA. My year of observing the cycle of life in rural central Virginia has come to a close, and having done what I set out to do, I am–at least temporarily–considering this a finished project. We hate to see you go. Another ...
