Monday, June 30, 2014. Holy cow - I didn't realize I did not post during the ENTIRE month of June. I'm sorry! I'm not really sure where this blog is heading in the future. It might disappear - like so many blogs when the time comes. I have some updates to share with you all. First, I had a BLAST during my very first pin up contest. I didn't make it to the second round, but I made some new friends and had a fantastic time. Here are a few photos from the day. This is a HUGE step towards my career goals.

Friday, January 31, 2014. It's time to get down to business - again. Traveling twice this morning really put my schedule out of whack. and I hate not being on a schedule! So let's get right into the 2014 goals. GET REGULAR EXERCISE/COMMIT TO THE GYM -. 2 DEVELOP THAT CAREER PATH -. Well on my way. I signed up for the remaining classes I needed to get my 100 credits to apply for the CAE exam in May. Which means now I better start studying! BE MORE WILLING TO BE SPUR OF THE MOMENT. Friday, April 25, 2014. Yesterday was my latest check up with my doctor following my surgery. Today marks exactly 4 weeks since my surgery date. The check up went really well. She gave me to go ahead to stop wearing the boot unless I was hurting or sore. My doctor also gave me the go-ahead to get back to the gym (not running or jumping yet) in the next week or two, depending on how my foot feels in regular shoes. I have a follow up appointment in 4 weeks to assess how the scar/incision looks.

So many things to post about! Three things actually. :). Kayla is wearing her Easter outfit today. We did not put a basket together for her, which I feel a bit guilty about, but Justin and I joked, “What would we put in it? A bottle of breast milk? 8221;🙂 She received to little lamb stuff animals on our trip to the midwest so I guess that is her Easter gift for her first Easter! She has a cloth diaper on in this photo🙂. 3 and what I really wanted to blog about was my cloth diapering experience this week.

She grabs her toys so easily now. When Daddy gets home from work and tries to talk to me, I'm always looking for Mommy. A little belated…. Happy Birthday Aunt Lauren! Saturday was my little sister’s 25th birthday. She is the most loving, smart, compassionate, feisty person I know and I’m so glad Kayla will grow up with one of so many great role models in her life. I know she’s a little lonely in Milwaukee, but hopefully not much longer. We love you Aunt Lauren! Sorry for the lack of posting. I keep hearing from everyone, 4 months, you get a new baby. Everything changes. Unless this happens overnight, this is NOT happening with Kayla. We are regressing, significantly…. 7:00-7:30 Nurse, play, smile, be the best baby ever. 9-10 Nap anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hr 45 minutes. 10:15 (or 10:45 or 11:00 or 11:30) wake up, nurse and play some more, or just cry because she’s still tired and won’t go back to sleep.
