Yelapa: A Mexican coastal village in the 1970s. When I arrived in Yelapa in 1970, the small village had dirt paths and no electricity. People lived in palm-thatched houses and fished, farmed and gathered coquitos for a living. Their social life attracted me and I began taking photographs with my Topcon 35mm camera.

All are included in the rental rate for up to 5 guests. Mariposa provides complete privacy for 2 couples. It will accommodate three to four single folks and is perfect for families of 4 to 5 people. Yelapa is located to the south of Puerto Vallarta within the Banderas Bay, it is approximately 45 minutes by water taxi leaving from Los Muertos Beach or 25 minutes departing from Boca de Tomatlan.
