Monday, August 30, 2010. Something old, something new. Well, we've reached our first real hurdle when it comes to baby stuff. Here's the background. We got a crib from a friend when they moved last year. It's large and old, and a drop-rail, but is in perfect working order and. free. It just needs a mattress. We also have a small bureau that is too low to the ground to make a good changing table. But we have it already, so it's "Free.". I see the logic, but still want shiny new baby stuff. hehehe. Still t...

Ramblings: December 2010

Monday, December 20, 2010. Last night, I had contractions. Now, I've had some sporadic, nonpainful Braxton Hicks here and there over the last couple weeks. I just "knew" that it was not labor. It didn't "feel" like Beans was coming. After a few minutes, I had to stop because my stomach turned into a hard, kind of bumpy rock. "Oh! And of course I had dreams of labor and delivery all night long. So far today: nothing exciting, and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon. Thursday, December 16, 2010.

Ramblings: Today
http://supermal5.blogspot.com/2010/12/today.html
Thursday, December 16, 2010. Last night was the worst night's sleep I've had so far. My legs were SOOOOOOOOO twitchy it was ridonculous, I was hot then cold then hot then clammy, I had to pee every 12 to 20 minutes, and Jack was super annoyed that I wouldn't be still so he kept trying to lay ON me. Needless to say, today isn't going so super, so I thought I'd share my funny story. Today's other fun: will sitting on a pillow help sciatic nerve pain? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.- leo tolstoy. I was listening to the radio the other day and i heard a commercial that used the word "foodie.". The term is ridiculous. instead of gourmet or food lover we have to use a stupid slang term, "foodie.". Even worse was the context of the commercial. it was for whole foods, and the context of the term was that "foodies" are eltist. it is food for God's sake. Food should bring us together. And make us burp.

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Holidays and the whatnot. Let's see. Christmas has come and gone. But first, I should back up. The week before Christmas, my amazing wife bought me all the pieces to build a new computer, and my amazing brother came out to Colorado and built it for me. It's a computer NASA would be jealous of. I barely have the knowledge to scratch the surface of all it can do! It's goal is to help me work faster (and having a keyboard that has a "D" key helps as well). Go a lot like this:.

Ramblings: Meet and Greet... the Doctor
http://supermal5.blogspot.com/2011/01/meet-and-greet-doctor.html
Thursday, January 6, 2011. Meet and Greet. the Doctor. Last night Anne and I had a very nice doctor experience, so I thought I'd share! Why not pass that on to the baby, if possible? I checked out a couple of the other places that were recommended. Stapleton Pediatrics topped our list based on recommendations and the doctor bios. Get your butts down here at 6pm! With 4 other couples (2 of whom were also due on Friday. nothing like looming birth to get you looking for a baby doctor! 2 of the doctors are r...

Monday, November 22, 2010. So close, and yet so far! 8226;How far along? 8226;Total weight gain/loss•. Duh My belly button sticks out really far, so that you can see it through several layers of clothing! It may be time to start covering it with a band-aid? I generally sleep like poo. Lots of rolling (have you ever seen a whale jump out of the water and flop back down? It's kind of like that.), twitchy legs, and lots of bathroom breaks. Naps are good, though. 8226;Best moment this week•. Come on, Beans!

Monday, February 14, 2011. Moms are more expensive than babies. Hospital stay (mom): 20K. Baby hospital stay: $1500. Cost to me: $39.17. YAY! I totally wonder why the $39.17 wasn't covered, but it's a morbid curiosity and it's not like I'm going to call and ask. hehe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Susie AxelRAD-Geiry, Real Estate Rock Star.
