A Pause in the Journey: 1/1/12 - 1/8/12

A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Thursday, January 5, 2012. 2012, How I Love Thee! My blog finally got a facelift! It's about time, huh? I know it's not much, but it's something. Maybe at some future date I'll grow some courage and really branch out. Does it sound awful that I deserted my daughter and grandsons for Christmas? I love the little froggy in the vegies. This stocking...

A Pause in the Journey: Gifts
http://apauseinthejourney.blogspot.com/2012/04/gifts.html
A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Wednesday, April 25, 2012. When you think of gifts, what do you think about? Now is the time of year that causes me to think about gifts, because I'd much rather focus on what I've been given rather than on what's been taken. Sometimes the only way to make an event and its consequences positive is to look for gifts. I have a couple of things from Mom...

A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Monday, April 30, 2012. Yes, my friends, we had a very weak little giveaway. The good news is that everyone had a great chance of winning the only chart that anyone wanted. So the winner of the Napa Valley Sampler chart is Edgar. These are pictures of the scarf that is done with my yarn-over mistakes, but you get the idea, don't you? It's definitely ...

A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Saturday, July 18, 2009. First is Women of the Mayflower. It's from the Spring 2004 volume of Fine Lines. I actually started this in the car on the way to Minnesota (before ATS was actually finished), but stopped when I discovered the purple floss issue. Next to join the WIP pile is Shores of Hawk Run Hollow (gasp! I have to get out of my nightgown a...

A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Friday, January 13, 2012. Hopefully, this will be a pretty fast post, because it's happening during my free time at school. I've been spending my time at home getting a couple of things accomplished. Of course, in my life, there are always a great number of things on my to-do list, but I've been able to scratch off a couple of items. I haven't decide...

A Pause in the Journey. The world's slowest stitcher, and now knitter, occasionally hits life's pause button to let a word or two (or maybe a thousand) fly. Wednesday, December 7, 2011. And I thought I'd be right back! Honestly, what happens to the days/weeks/months? They just keep flying by, and there's so, so much to do. But I'm here now with some pictures to share. When I picked up the Yellow House Sampler again. It's an old Sheepish Designs piece from long, long ago. Isn't it pretty? One of the many ...

Borduren en Quilten met Linda: Nieuwe aanwinst!
http://bordurenmetlinda.blogspot.com/2014/07/nieuwe-aanwinst.html
Borduren en Quilten met Linda. Zondag 6 juli 2014. En wat is dat dan? Nieuwe stofjes of iets dergelijks?

STITCHING AGAIN: Quilting Update 7/19
http://stitchingagain-marchann58.blogspot.com/2015/07/quilting-update-719.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. Heather's quilt is finished, I completed the quilting and the binding is sewn in place. I tried a flange binding and it turned out beautifully. I will be using this machine binding on most of my quilts from now on. Started my 2015 Leader and Ender Challenge. My 1st tumble row. I like the layout of the tumble's in this picture and will mostly use it for my quilt. Block 27 and 15. I also finished lesson 9 of my Aim for Accuracy II. Blocks being joined in lesson 9. I am on my Second Q...
