Wednesday, February 18, 2009. We are happy to announce that we are the proud owners of 10 laying hens! Having the fresh eggs every morning is a real treat. I love watching them. They really have distinct personalities, just like any pet would. I am really enjoying having them. I look forward to raising other farm animals, perhaps a cow or two, I'd love a horse, and maybe even turkeys! One of our next projects is to build a big barn to house them all.
