ES2007S Professional Communication: Final Reflection
http://sherinetiew.blogspot.com/2008/11/final-reflection.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. Time sure passes fast, we are now at the end of the course! Well, looking back, I was expecting quite a lot from this course, and admittedly I learned more on the written aspect than anything else, so no complains there. I remember the first things we learned in the course were active listening, nonverbal cues, resolving conflicts, intercultural communication and more, since these were more fundamentally important, considering the fact that we communicate with people every day.

ES2007S Professional Communication: Intercultural Communication
http://jaymieblogs.blogspot.com/2008/09/intercultural-communication.html
Wednesday, September 24, 2008. Singapore has an intercultural/inter-racial society, and racial harmony is something she prides herself on. Our social fabric is very delicate, and intercultural conflicts have to be solved with much sensitivity and tact. To communicate effectively, one has to be sensitive towards certain issues, especially those regarding culture and religion. Also, the fact that both parties could not understand each others' accent well was also a cause for the communication breakdown.

Sabrina's Communication Blog: November 2008
http://sabrinahe.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 15, 2008. In various social settings, people use communication to share their ideas, express their thoughts and convey their life stories . In this way, it helps to build up the interpersonal relationships between two people. I believe that if there is no communication, there can be no relationship. But if there is effective communication, healthy relationships can be established (as mentioned in my first blog post assignment). Posted by Sabrina He. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, August 29, 2008. However, things did not turn out to be what I expected. After seeking for help a second time from our tutor, I found myself being bombarded with vulgarities by B on MSN! He probably hated me for going up to the tutor again. In a fit of anger, I replied, "You did not listen to us and contribute much in our project. I find it even harder to work with you now. With your attitude like this, perhaps, you shouldn't be in JC.". Posted by Sabrina He. August 31, 2008 at 2:44 PM. As for th...
