Thursday, January 27, 2011. 1)Chavez' intent with her first six words is to show the validity of the side that she is ultimately going to be disagreeing with. 2)Chavez used the word bellicose in her column to somewhat agree with the opposing side that the metaphors being made can be harsh and aggressive, however they are common and not necessarily wrong. Sunday, October 24, 2010. Why play the race card? I agree with Albom 100%. LeBron James shifts the blame on racism, because he is not willing to admit what he has done. He has lost the respect of millions of people. Nobody demanded that he stayed in Cleveland, but at the same time nobody expected him to embarrass his home like that. Furthermore, by blaming race, he takes the easy way out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Do you think the tragedy in Tucson, AZ was politically motivated? Why play the race card?
