Because I was having complications post-labor they were going to have me stay another night, but I just wanted to go home and be with my family, so the Dr. agreed that I could go home with antibiotics and medication if I would get lots of rest, and follow up everyday for that week. Yay! I was so excited to go home! I called Lini and told him to come to the hospital and pick us up! He brought Pita and Lia with him! Lini got baby dressed while I got my things together. She was so small in the car seat!

Where have you been? The past year a lot has happened. But I'm not sure it's fair to say that TOO much has happened that I cannot keep a record of it? Thankfully I have a Journal and actually have recorded most of the important events that have taken place, but I have realized it's just not the same reading and re-reading those wonderful milestones without pictures! I happened to catch a sweet moment on camera one night. Lini is such a wonderful DAD.and I know that Pita will grow up to be a great Man because of the things he learns from his dad. Grandpa MAKAI's field trip! Salote's 4th grade planned a field trip to THIS IS THE PLACE HERITAGE PARK. And the school sent home a note asking for any parent who would like to accompany the class in this field trip to please sign up! Then I had this idea.so I asked Lote, "What if you take Grandpa Makai? How are you Lote?

Lote's Piano Federation Festival 2011. Lote participated for the 4th consistent time in the Salt Lake Utah Piano Federation Festival held at SLCC the end of Feb. She skipped a piano level last year and her teacher had her skip it again this year.so even though she is really on level 3 in piano she performed her pieces at a level 5! This year her songs were very hard.and a challenge for her (but she loves challenges! I was so proud of her.and all her hard work she put into it this year! Good job dottie...

I haven't had time to write about the wedding, It was wonderful.the dance Friday night was fun, the kids had fun performing their talent for Uncle Misi and Auntie Pola.the sealing was beautiful .and the reception was fit for a king! The Wed before Mother's Day we took the kids on a little getaway to Park City for 4 days! I of course was about 8 months pregnant at the time, (the main reason why we didn't go to far from home),but it was a nice vacation for me to just relax, sleep, swim, and be together as a family.
