High points: my granddaughter S expresses her love for me by smiling up at me, grabbing my forearms and hopping up as high as she can on my thighs, like a little hoptoad, smiling in my eyes the whole time. Two ways of looking at everything. Monday, October 1, 2012. The itty bitty spider. S had a friend over today. They were playing a game. Unfortunately, S punched her friend in the face by accident. Instead of saying sorry and moving on like a normal well adjusted human being, she started crying and sulking. She then separated herself from her friend and couldnt even bring herself to say goodbye when her friend was leaving. Hopefully this is just a terrible phase. October 1, 2012 at 9:46 PM.

It's actually liberating to be thinking and planning purchases in advance to mitigate returns. Life is also simpler.
