One year in Nigeria. | YetundeTheNigerianBeauty's Blog
https://yetundethenigerianbeauty.wordpress.com/2015/06/09/one-year-in-nigeria
Experience life through my eyes…. One year in Nigeria. Asymp; Leave a comment. The hardest thing for me to get used to in my year back in Nigeria has to be the way men and women relate. I respect my journey and will never be less than who I am created to be with every breath I am blessed to partake in. A year in and I am STILL happy in my now and excited about my next now. Passed down from the elder women in the family to the younger ones, they would string together their beads and wear them on the hips and waists. It has also been documented that waist beads were and I’m sure are still used in certain places in Africa to hold up a woman’s menstrual cloth. Richard Zulu Shabazz Photography an...

Experience life through my eyes…. The purpose to life. Asymp; 2 Comments. There IS only one purpose to life as I can see it. This purpose is to love. Love is what makes this existence flourish and continue. Now, I’m not saying that because the only purpose is to love means that there will be no ill will. A world devoid of ill will is not life. There IS only one reason that people commit ill will towards another. It may be love for money, sex, alcohol, freedom, coffee or even God. Nonetheless, it is love.
The Burning Settlement. | YetundeTheNigerianBeauty's Blog

Experience life through my eyes…. We were on our way home from a night out on the town in Ikoyi/Victoria Island. We watched a live band perform some cover tunes. They were good but the sound was horrible thus rendering the singers helpless in truly reaching the ears of some tuned in listeners. The cab ride was nice and enjoyable. We talked and laughed with each other. Through thick smoke we found a spot to safely remove cameras from the backpack we lugged there and the snapping began. As we snapped, ...

yet. unspent | ok not to dance
Ok not to dance. Americký country a rock’n’rollový zpěvák Jerry Lee Lewis. Podle časopisu Rolling Stone. Začal jsem se s kytarou ohánět okol...
