Before he met Friday ,Robinson was lonely.He found companionship with two dogs,a parrot and a cat. After he saved Friday,he lived happily together for 3 years. Fiday learnt to speak English.One day they fought a group of savages. They saved Friday's own Father.This shows that Friday is loyal to his friend. They learn from each other. The two forces are always competing within him and he has to make sure he keeps a balance between them. Robinson Crusoe taught Friday about God.Friday had never heard of God.Robinson explained to him the diference between good and evil,and about God and the Devil.He taught Friday about God goodness and power.He explained that God's aim was to make sure that good triumphed over Evil. Friday asked him why God did not simply distroy the Devil and allow only good in the world.Robinson did not have an answer.He prayed to God for an answer.This show his deep faith in God.
