While the relative humidity can change considerably during the day, the dew point temperature remains fairly constant, and is a better measure of the total amount of moisture in the air, and the level of discomfort. Jim Abraham, Meteorologist. A Warm and Dry May. June 1, 2015. A cold front passed by Sunday (31 May) has placed the region in a cool damp pattern to begin June. In fact many communities in Nova Scotia will receive more rain in the first three days of June than they received in all of May!
