I'm switching journals cause I don't like this name. All posts from - Hollow Thoughts. Dec 11th, 2004 01:19 pm. Cause I don't like this name. All posts from now on will (hopefully) be in. Please friend me there! I will friend you all, I'm not doing this to block people out or anything. Oh, and tell me what you think of that layout! Looking for a sleeping bag - Climber

Looking for a sleeping bag - Climber. Looking for a sleeping bag. Oct 21st, 2008 02:31 pm. I am looking for a new sleeping bag. Would anyone have good recommendations for me? I need a 3 season bag, weight is an issue, and I am a rather short female :). Thank you in advance! 2008-10-21 10:02 pm (UTC). Are you looking for down or synthetic? Are you more often warm or cold? I'm always cold, so my 0F bag is my "three season" bag). Do you have space constraints (i.e. backpacking vs car camping)? And if you ar...

Gloves? - Climber
http://climb-high.livejournal.com/226301.html
Feb 6th, 2009 02:24 am. 2009-02-06 01:28 pm (UTC). Callouses are pretty much part of the deal. The only gloves I've seen intended for rock climbing are "hand jammies" made for crack climbing and they protect the back of your hands and knuckles, not fingers. 2009-02-06 03:05 pm (UTC). I'll be blunt: the only glove-wearering rock climbers I've ever seen are in the gym and are the posers who secretly think it looks cool, or the moms who can't handle the rope friction when belaying for their kids. To remove ...

Jan 10th, 2005 05:19 pm. Was It All Worth It? Oh, and 2004 according to my LiveJournal:. Account is so recent and has very little from 2004, I'm going to use. It's New Year's Day (happy New Year everyone! And I think I can safely say my party went well. February: It's not fucking possible. Yes, in italics). March: Ooh.OUCH. (referring to a meme). April: Bah, humbug. The physics test was postponed until tomorrow, so I didn't get to go climbing because I had to study. June: Funny thing about sleep. Record ...

New Island, Just Add Pumice - Geology
http://geology.livejournal.com/268207.html
New Island, Just Add Pumice. Http:/ www.funzug.com/index.php/nat. That would be pretty damn awesome, sailing through a sea coated in pumice and then seeing a volcano build itself before your very eyes. No doubt its gone by now, but thats awesome, IMHO. Posted on Jan. 11th, 2011 at 04:35 pm. That would be a truly awe-inspiring sight to see! I remember reading a book as a kid about Surtsey. And thinking how incredible it would be to watch a new volcanic island form! Thanks for the link.
