最近几个星期，我由中国古典舞蹈的一个叫做顺风旗的舞姿受到了很多的启发。顺风旗这一舞姿就像它的名字一样，它的基本姿势是高举的双臂，臂和掌在一起形成向心的圆弧形。她已有很久远的历史，早在敦煌舞蹈壁画中就有类似于顺风旗的舞姿出现；顺风旗和端腿、托掌、按掌等等中国古典舞蹈造型更是频繁地出现在汉代的画像砖石上。顺风旗不但运用于中国古典舞蹈中，在京剧等戏曲中也有广泛的运用。这段时间里无论我走到那里，在什么地方，什么事上满眼都看到这个舞姿，当然不必说在我的插花中更是顺风旗到处飘扬了。两周前的插花课上，老师给了每人几枝海棠花枝。漂亮、柔媚的海棠花枝舒展的弧线马上使我又想起了顺风旗舞姿，我把她们按照顺风旗的舞姿插了起来，请老师看后，我就把插花移到了旁边的桌上以腾出地方给其他同学们用。然后我就加入老师和同学们，讲评其他同学的作品了。不论您正在做的是什么事，不妨也试试换一个角度看它，也许您会和我一样得到意外的惊喜发现呢。 There will be an English version very soon. 春天对花艺爱好者来说是最好的季节了。我们有很多只有这个季节才有的花材可以选用。杜...在“只使用...

在一个完美的插花中占70%的是花器。因为没有办法事先知道可能会有什么样的花材，很难预测带什么花器合适。这一只花器我在车里带了三个星期，终于碰到了这么完美的花材组合，真是非常高兴。不过我自己的插花总是没有办法做到真的完美。摆在那里看着它就不断地挑毛病，也还总能挑出毛病来。所以对很喜欢的作品也只是能做到接近完美。这是遗憾，但是总能看到要改进的地方也是很值得庆幸的事，只有这样才可以进步和提高。去年四月在旧金山日本城的樱花节看花展，站在我老师的插花前就不由自主地被那插花吸引和感动。那真是一个完美的插花作品。可惜两维的照片表达不出三维空间的美，更不用提闻不到花香和感受不到生命的活力了。美中不足，还是不完美。 There will be an English version soon. 老师走过来建议我加几枝一位同学从家里带来给大家的美洲越橘。我通常为了保持插花简单的风格尽量少加不同的花材，不过如果不尝试就没有办法知道是不是加了更好，很多时候尝试是唯一的学习方法。在这个过程中我学习到很多，我希望您觉得我分享的这个过程有趣并喜欢这周的插花。也祝愿您有个快乐的星期五！比如说，英文里说的 Gol...

亲爱的朋友们，我休假一个月，呆在北京，不能上这个网站，同时我也想远离计算机，所以快乐星期五要等我回来再继续了。注：昨天晚上我去看了舞剧红楼梦，很喜欢。更高兴的是我看懂舞蹈的语言了（前一阵子看到的都是分解动作）！回家的路上想起了两年前写的这篇。两个月前的一个周末我去买花时，注意到了一束 alstroemerias 花的花蕾颜色和其他常见的有些不同，或许是我以前从来没有注意过这颜色，出于好奇，我就把她买下了，想要看看花开后会是什麽颜色。第二天，第一朵花开了。当我第一眼看到那盛开的花时，我的心里有说不出的喜爱和感动。那花是非常娇嫩的粉色，花瓣的外圈是比较深的粉，花瓣的顶端带有一点新绿，粉色向着中间一点一点地淡下去，花瓣上还有几星淡淡的浅斑，这花让我不由得想起了少女粉嫩的，带着几点可爱的雀斑的，洋溢着青春的脸庞。我用了四枝女儿梦简单地插了一盆，另外的一枝星期一的早晨带了给我的朋友爱丽丝，虽然我很会猜别人喜欢什么颜色和什么花，但当我看到爱丽丝惊喜的表情时，我很开心我猜得那么准，女儿梦原来是爱丽丝最喜爱的颜色和最喜爱的花。先从信封中掉出来的是一片日本枫的干枫叶。我接着把信抽出来&#6529...

一轮明月: 由学习而感恩

后就没有时间了，想到了一篇两年前写的旧文，是关于感恩的。就用这篇文章祝愿大家感恩节快乐吧。近几年来每当我碰到花艺或陶艺的同好问我要名片时，我总拿不出来，因为我还没有名片。所以最近就想设计一张很艺术的名片。我有一枚装饰用的闲章（三三陶师），我常常用它来装饰我的陶艺，这会儿就觉得把那枚图章用在我的名片上应该效果不错。但我自己信不过我自己做的设计，所以就想到了我的一位女友。女友是个很有才气的设计师。她曾义务地帮助树华教育基金会做过设计，我非常喜欢她的创意。我当时想得很简单。用扫描机把印章扫描进去，再用 Adobe Photoshop 修理一下，加上底色，打上字就大功告成了。以女友的才华，又加上她对Adobe Photoshop 这个软件很熟，设计这张名片应该是小事一桩。我猜想大概用女友两个小时的时间吧。一年一度的感恩节马上要到了，作为感恩节的传统，仅以这盆感恩节的插花奉献给一切我要感恩的人或事，并祝愿大家感恩节快乐。 Click here for English version. 订阅：帖子评论 (Atom).

九月初当我接受现在的工作后，我有两个多星期的时间继续留在原来工作的医学院交接和善后。人可能都是这样，对没有的或是要没有的就会加倍珍惜。回想在医学院工作的一年里，我交到了很多的朋友，学习到了很多东西。我得到的那些难得的经验会使我受益一辈子。不舍之下，我拟了一个长长的单子，上面列出了我走前要做的事，其中有一项是要去医学院的附属医院听一次“槟”系列音乐会。 8220;槟”系列音乐会（Bing Music Series ）是由海伦.槟和皮特.槟捐助的免费音乐会，每周的星期三和星期五的中午十二点半在医学院附属医院的中央大厅里举行。举办这些系列音乐会的目的是帮助病人、家属和医务人员放松，改善他们的情绪。瑞蒙特.巴（ Raymond Bahr ）博士曾经断言，“半小时的音乐能产生和十毫克安定一样的作用。”一年前我刚到医学院工作时我就知道有“槟”系列音乐会了。从那时开始我...接下来的这个星期五的中午我终于和朋友爱丽丝一起去了音乐会的现场。大厅里已经坐了一些听众，有些正在吃他们的午餐。我们到后两、三分钟音乐会就按时开始了。当天演奏的是印度斯坦的音乐&...Click here for English version.

其实早有读者建议，但是我一直犹疑。后来主要有两件事改变了我的想法。一次我请读者们给一个插花作品起名字，一个读者起的名字让我意识到了很多。我自己对生活的经验很有限，所以对很多没有体验过的事根本想不到。读者们各自有不同的生活经历，这反映在每个人给我的反馈中，我从中学习到了很多。用博客这个互动空间，其他读者也可以学习，而且是大家一起很方便地学习。但是我还是有一点担心。一个朋友曾经介绍我看文学城一个叫落花飘零的博主写的博客，名字叫做《阳光下的痴想》。我很喜欢，跟着看了两年多，她在上海读完了医学院，来到美国后考到医生资格，开始做住院医生，现在是她的最后一年住院医，我跟着她学习了不少的知识，对美国的医疗系统也多了很多了解。其他读者给她的评论都是很友善的。在落花情绪低落时很多读者鼓励她...中文博客（记忆方法－汉语拼音“以柔的花”）：.
