Sunday, January 2, 2011. We woke up to a clear tropical dawn with few clouds. I immediately dragged Kenny out of bed to go golfing. Since the island is experiencing unusual amount of rain, I wasn't going to waste any sunny mornings in bed - plenty of time to hibernate when we go back to freezing Ottawa for another 3 months of winter. Shervy. Was waiting for us and we teed off right away. The course was wet from the previous day's rain but we didn't mind. We followed in Shervy's. Armando's - best seats.

It is also a luxury reserved for those rich enough to live in a house - can you imagine what your apartment would smell like if you light a BBQ in it? Saturday, January 1, 2011. Finally - a great night's sleep! Kenny was a genius to figure out that "1" setting on the fan is actually the highest setting. When we put the fan on "4" and closed the balcony doors to keep the biting mosquitoes. Out, we slept like babies. For the first time on the island, I felt completely refreshed and rested.
