Thursday, April 23, 2009. We were so excited to have some tulips bloom for Easter. Had to really work to keep them from freezing the week before. Eli made sure we put the "cozies" out on the flowers so they wouldn't die. The boys LOVE these suits. I had a hard time getting Ezra to take off his "tied". Eli always likes to dress like a "preacher". They don't show in this pic, but Emma was excited to have "high heels". Can you tell we get excited about even a little bit of snow? You can tell I was really working to find an acceptable costume for Ezra. We have an elephant, a cow, a scarcrow, a lion, and various other options of costume, but he was having NONE of it (refer to the picture above for photographic evidence). We all gathered at mid day on Saturday and DH led a short devotional thanking the Lord for His wonderful blessings to us. We then ate and started the games; face painting, the Hay Ride, apple bobbing and the cake walk. Here are some photos. You can see how the Lord blessed us with beautiful sunshine!
