Anyhow, I adopted her from a couple that lives at the Xai Xai beach. Their dog had a litter of 6, and Sophie was the only one left unclaimed. So, they gave her to me! Our daughter Avery was born on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. She was born still, weighing 3.3 pounds, leaving my womb after 35 weeks and 1 day. Her heart had stopped beating sometime during the weekend.
