Maty = friend. Swimming workouts for everyone. Swim workout #16 (short. Today, I really was short on time but I managed to make it to the pool and did a quick but sweet workout. I was satisfied and felt good when leaving the pool. Maybe you will too? 6 x 50 KICK FREE @ 1.15. 6 x 50 PULL FREE @ 60sec. 3 x 100 IM @ 2.00min. 10 x 25 SPRINT @ 60sec, pick one stroke and complete all 10 with that same stroke (I did FREE but was unable to use the blocks but if you can that is even better). I coached young kids aged 8-10, masters and now I coach a college student swimming club. In general, people have enjoyed my workouts, so frequently I was asked to make them available for everyone at any time. Therefore, I will post them here on a regular basis. If you are like me and like swimming freestyle you might enjoy it. Go for it. 400 CHOICE – 300 KICK CHOICE – 200 PULL CHOICE – 100 IM. 6 x 150 – 50 EASY CHOICE STROKE – 50 KICK FREE HARD – 50 EASY CHOICE STROKE. 2 x 200 FREE R=30sec. 4 x 100 FREE @ 1.45 – 1.50 – 1.55. In other words make it your own! 6 x 150 (100 no free rest 20 sec followed by 50 FREE build within 50 @ 60sec). 450 CHOICE kick/pull by 50. 2 x 50 FREE @ 50 followed by 2 x 100 FREE HOLD @1.30-1.45) repeat set three times. Take 60sec extra rest after each set, CHALLENGE YOURSELF WITh THESE 100’s. 6 x 50 CHOICE @60sec.
