The YMCA offers a summer adventure camp for kids from 3 years-12 years. Eleven fun-filled weeks of activities your child will experience include field trips, camp assemblies, special guests and events, swimming, arts and crafts, weekly themes, science, games, super cool counselors, and much more! Youth ages 8-14 must leave by 8:00 pm unless parent/guardian are with them at all times. Open only to those who are 16 or older during the extended hours, the pool area is closed during this time. 8:00 am - 8:00 pm. 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. 8:00 am - 11:00 am. YMCA Youth Sports are unique because each child must play a specified amount of time during each game. No standings are kept. Each child receives a participation award at the end of each program. YMCA youth sports are based on participation, skill development, teamwork, family involvement, volunteer leadership and most of all, having fun. This years shutdown is particularly insulting to the Have-nots, because it follows a concert the Y is sponsoring which features the Marshall Tucker Band. Tickets are $27 and $37 apiece and I am not sure how much beer will be. Why in the name of heaven is a group which masquerades as a non-profit involved in such foolishness?
