Today Camp Reed owns over 555 acres on beautiful, yet hidden, Fan Lake. Yes, there are plenty of weeds that need pulling. carpets that need cleaning. Papers waiting to be sorted and filed. Projects abandoned. Checking in with the scale. Checking in with the scale. 2009: heaviest weight of 285 lbs. 2011: gained half of that back AND used a different scale, that weighed 7 lbs heavier (huh? Than my old one, so according to that scale I gained an *extra* 7 lbs, which I didn't. Just sayin'. :). 12/30/11: A fresh start! 1/9/12: 265.6 ( -7.0. 1/15: 263.8 ( -1.8. Got a new scale (apparent bad luck with scales? So this number may be a bit *off*. 1/29: 257.8 (-6.0). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Some of my fav things.

Checking in with the scale. Tuesday, January 10, 2012. The one in which I want fries. Lots of fries. Took a day off from the gym this morning. Frankly, I was up too late, didn't sleep well, and had a few choices words for the alarm when it went off at 4:20 am. I found that I really noticed the difference in not going. I missed that surge of energy and buzz you have all day from working out first thing in the morning. Oh, I noticed something else too. That's over 1/3 of my daily points allowed. Crazy!

So far we have built 550 bags, and are doing more tomorrow. We also participated in another local food drive, in which we were able to donate an entire pickup truck FULL of donated food. Awesome! 46-48 Bridge Street, Tokoroa. Welcome to the YMCA South Waikato the Heart of New Zealand. A quick oversight of our YMCA:. We have been operating in Tokoroa since 1963. Our first premises were in Papanui Street. The stadium burnt down on October 1973. For the next 10 years we operated from the buildings where the old Countdown was and the Army Hall in Bridge Street. Our new stadium was opened in 1983 and we are still operating from Princess Beatrix Ave site. The programmes we are currently running.
