De asemenea au prioritate anunturile de interes general cum ar fi cele referitoare la o propagare deosebita in scurte sau ultrascurte, etc;. Initial, repetorul a fost gindit sa inlocuiasca repetorul VHF R6X montat la virfu Tarcu 2190m-KN15GG, repetorul montat aici suferind multe avarii de-a lungul timpului(90% din cauza descarcarilor electrice atmosferice) si din cauza ca frecventa era puternic interferata in orase de catre televiziunea prin cablu.
