The Misadventures of Saru
https://yokohamabrian.wordpress.com/2006/09/12/8
The Misadventures of Saru. What is this crazy land called Nihon? Laquo; Hello world! Back at it, Lads. On our way to some cabins that we had rented for the weekend. The weekend started-off on a pirate ship and continued to be absolutely fabulous to the end! There is certainly nobody out there that can accuse the Japanese of not enjoying a bit of Peter Pan fun every once in a while:). 29 September, 2008. This Sarah Palin woman frightens me. Filed under: Political rants. 8212; by verdanticity @ 3:05 pm. She claims Alaska’s proximity to Russia gives her an edge on foreign policy! This quote from the Sydney Morning Herald sums it all up:. However, for some analysts, Palin’s limited experience in foreign affairs is unlikely to affect her support among the rank-and-file Republican base, which responds to her staunchly conservative views on abortion, guns and religion. The adventures of the tall guy. March 24, 2007. Posted by urbanblue in Adventures. St Patrick’s Day Parades. Do they actually have them in Ireland? Well anyway, they have them in the UK, in the US, and also (bizarrely) in Japan also. Not sure exactly how many Irish there actually were, but the flavour was decidedly Japanese, as shown here by the green rickshaws. Also lots of American military bands, some representatives of the local Irish pubs, and a giant inflatable Guiness. Good day out though! Follow ...

Crab) and the Genghis Khan barbeque (lamb cooked on a hot griddle at the table). And there were even bars made out of ice to have a drink at after. I am so glad I went, and am also so glad I didn’t go arse over tit on the ice, which was a distinct possibility. Thank you SO much Masaru for taking me! February 19, 2007. Looks fantastic (and cold! 26 September, 2008. Oscillate Wildly in Newtown gives Tetsuya’s a run for its money. Filed under: Food and Wine. 8212; by verdanticity @ 10:59 pm. August was my second visit to that hallowed shrine of fine dining, but it felt a bit like the army of staff there just were going through the motions on that second visit. They’ve been serving many of the same 14 dishes to a hundred-odd punters every night for a long time. There was no personal attention, no. So, what did we eat that was so good? Foam I still ...

2 July, 2008. Filed under: Day to Day Stuff. 8212; by verdanticity @ 10:29 pm. 8230;is just getting silly now. New laws were passed in NSW yesterday permitting police to strip search and issue $5500 fines to anyone interrupting or causing annoyance to the catholic “pilgrims” who are starting to converge on Sydney for their bout of mutual masterbation and kiddy fiddling. Among activities specifically outlawed are wearing “offensive” T-shirts and handing condoms to Catholics. Leave a Comment ». God was inv...

Monkey | the adventures of the tall guy
https://urbanblue.wordpress.com/monkey
The adventures of the tall guy. Now then. I am very aware of the fact that I am a 31-year old fella taking pictures of an inanimate stuffed monkey in various public places, and all the psychological implications that arise from this fact. But I don’t care, I think it’s funny. Plus you get to see a bit more of Japanese culture in a whacky and unique way, so everyone’s a winner.😉. EDAMAME MONKEY (as per Be’s request! Any requests for future Monkey pictures, let me know in the comments section🙂. Hmm, I do...
