Thursday, July 21, 2011. Yes, it was definitely underwhelming and I refuse to applaud a backhoe just because its painted in camouflage. So I got back on the bike and set of for the Seine thinking I would go visit my old stomping ground of la rive gauche. I turned around and found that AGAIN I was somehow in the way of what had to be the SAME police motorcade as before. Wobbling on my bike, I tried to swerve to the side and my skirt flew up nearly blocking my vision. What is this? Monday, July 18, 2011.

Monday, July 18, 2011. Love all offal. The third- and this is more likely than the first reason to change (survival of the fittest and all that) is that I’m too polite to restaurant owners when I am presented with food that is not correct. This of course spurs the self-rapprochement- ‘a French woman would have complained'…. When I arrived in London after a difficult navigation through the renovated Heathrow Airport (have they just not put the signs up yet? But the swollen ankles! I’m going to Paris.

For the most part these were crammed into styrofoam crates with makeshift airation systems. I almost had the urge to ask these stall holders how they coped all the time when their stalls were pushed over during all those high speed chases in action movies, often involving Jackie Chan. Apparently I will have pretty good access to the net and I now have NO room for a book- so the blog will be quite an outlet for me. Thanks for all the supportive advice from everyone. I have my spidey senses set on maximum for my arrival in the Dominican and will try to keep everyone up to date. The land of Oz.
