Pinsel Town: Brook - Acrylic on Canvas
http://pinseltown.blogspot.com/2016/03/brook-acrylic-on-canvas.html
This is my little picture gallery on the Web, where I showcase my lame attempts at painting. Tuesday, 8 March 2016. Brook - Acrylic on Canvas. Brook (40 x 50cm). This painting is a miserable rip-off of Bob Ross's fantastic painting Marshland. Season 6 episode 12). His colors are much more brilliant than mine, though. Acrylic paints look rather dull when dry (Oh, that's a good one! I'll remember that when I mess up my next painting. :-). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Will Kemp Art School.

http://underhandedeconomist.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Economics is not rocket science. It's not even science. Saturday, August 9, 2014. The Myth of Perfect Competition. Joseph Stiglitz, for example, says that the process of switching to a new supplier involves a certain cost (looking for a new supplier, driving farther, etc), and as long as the price increase is lower than the cost of switching, the consumer is better off if he remains with the supplier, despite the higher price. But consider what happens if only a single. Loyal customer is enough. Know...

The Underhanded Economist: June 2014
http://underhandedeconomist.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Economics is not rocket science. It's not even science. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Sometimes you need some time off, especially if you're writing about mainstream economics. There's only so much inconsistency, illogicality or ideology that you can take at any one time. I for one need a valve to vent off, and in my case that's music. I own a Yamaha MOX6. And a small collection of home-made analog synthesizers and use them to produce music, or just tickle the ivories, as the saying goes.

Economics is not rocket science. It's not even science. Saturday, August 31, 2013. Keen on Collusion (2). In my previous post on monopoly vs perfect competition ( Keen on Collusion. I discussed the findings of Steve Keen's paper Emergent Effective Collusion in an Economy of Perfectly Rational Competitors. What I see instead is yawns, bored bloggers writing that this is old stuff, and anyway, so what? The blogger writing at Unlearning Economics. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Analog synthesizer construction and other electronics projects. Well intentioned - inaptly crafted. Monday, 3 November 2014. RAM Cartridge for the Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer (Part IV: Reboot). This is part four of my report on building a RAM cartridge for the Yamaha DX7. Digital synthesizer. This is part five of my report on building a RAM cartridge for the Yamaha DX7. Digital synthesizer, and finally I've got some positive news: I've got a prototype that works!
