Monday, February 14, 2005. These decks are the classrooms for the children attending this school. As this school serves a very large surronding area too vast for daily commute to and from school, children and teachers live at the school. Pinapple bushes next to a pathway between two plant nursaries. The remains of a structure above a large irrigation well. Relaxin' Tree time in the Mango Farm. Staff quarters. Much more convinent than a 3 hour drive from the city or distant towns. Taking an afternoon nap.

Before this road trip, I never imagined that North New Mexico would have great gorgeous green Rocky Moutains! A great surprise on the 800 mile stretch to El Paso. SUNRISE LEAVING EL PASO. Here's a picture with 1/3 of the town folk. This store is owned by the mayor of Roosevlt, TX. The only gas station within 30 miles or so from this spot. QUICK DRIVE THROUGH LOUISIANA, MISSISSIPPI, 'N ALABAMA.

Saturday, July 16, 2005. When I was in India, 2 Chabbnic guys from New York, Mendi and Zalmi, arrived in Mumbai for 6 weeks. Last week, Mendi's sister got married, and I had the opportunity to play at her wedding. The ceremony happened under the Chuppah outside of The Jerusalem Great Synagogue, and the festivities, singing, dancing, and feasting would continue in one of the banquet halls of The Great Synagogue. Narrow streets of Old Jerusalem. Soldiers at the Western Wall. Posted by Yoshi :-) @ 7/16/2005.

Sunday, January 30, 2005. The Indian Students welcoming the American Students at the Sun City Hotel. Yoshi, Shaila, Rutul, and Sultan. 3 people who I would be spending much time with over the next few months. Sultan was my roommate for our internship experience with SIFE, and Shaila and Rutul took me in like family when I extended my stay in India. Tonia: Eccentric, opinionated, bubbly, and a crazy-go-lucky-girl from Alaska. Posted by Yoshi :-) @ 1/30/2005. CLICK HERE TO RETURN TO MY TRAVEL BLOG.
