When we got home last night, we had breakfast waiting for us for this morning: cinnamon rolls, donuts, milk, and juice (a good friend brought these in for us). Tuesday, August 2, 2011. Second Day with Maren. This morning she was quite happy and jabbering lots of words (which we could not translate). She also is quite a climber and is very speedy at her modified walking (she walks on her knees - tall kneeling). She gave us kisses tonight for the first time. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Several of you have asked about the paperwork we need and the timeline to go get our sweet girl. Here is a general overview:. 1) LOA - we get this document from China; it takes between 1 - 3 months from our referral to get this; we are praying for God to work in a mighty way to get this document to us as soon as possible. 2) 1-800 approval - from US immigration; it takes approximately 3 weeks; we cannot get this until we send a copy of the LOA to immigration. Sunday, July 31, 2011. We flew from Beijing to Maren's hometown of Changchun today. We had a guide meet us at the airport and take us to our hotel.
