emahlee: Blanket in a pig
http://emahlee.blogspot.com/2011/07/blanket-in-pig.html
View my complete profile. Blanket in a pig. I bought these vintage brass napkin holders a while ago. They’re shaped as animals, which I love. I like to believe that they converse with each other about the wonderful things I cook. I also find it funny to have pig sitting on my dining room table, especially if I’m having pork that day (same goes with the cow and having beef etc.). Monday, July 11, 2011. Emahlee posted in: arts n crafts. Great work with the napkins. everything looks so dainty!

View my complete profile. I'm so happy it's the weekend! It's been a long week and I'm exhausted and ready for some R&R. What are your plans for the long weekend? It looks as though I may have to get some work done, but I hope to squeeze in some bike riding and a picnic or two. Have fun, my dear friends! Friday, July 29, 2011. Emahlee posted in: babble. emahlee: Strawberry fields forever
http://emahlee.blogspot.com/2011/08/strawberry-fields-forever.html
View my complete profile. This week sure has passed by quickly; I love short weeks! So I didn't end up having picnics during the long weekend. We learned a new board game (Modern Art) and played lots of it. We did spend sufficient time outdoors biking and berry picking! And the recipe from the Pectin box, I made four small jars of strawberry jam. Albeit a bit boring (all that hulling and mashing and scooping! Strawberry season is over now, but that just means raspberries, my favourite berry of them all!

emahlee: Day 3 of EBC Trek - Namche Acclimatization
http://emahlee.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-3-of-ebc-trek-namche.html
View my complete profile. Day 3 of EBC Trek - Namche Acclimatization. Namche Bazaar is known for its weekly Saturday market where Sherpas meet friends, catch up with others and load up on supplies. As the last major outpost where supplies are most readily available, Namche attracts locals from all around the Khumbu region. It was a relaxing day and restful evening; save for the late night party playing what could only have been Akon. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Emahlee posted in: Nepal.

emahlee: Mothers, Daughters
http://emahlee.blogspot.com/2011/11/mothers-daughters.html
View my complete profile. So here is the long awaited post I promised you to come at the end of September which clearly didn't happen. I've been busy working on a project Mothers, Daughters. On the seemingly endless days gone by, my thoughts consisted of what we were going to eat for dinner (potatoes and daal bhat can leave one a little wanting), a Marc by Marc Jacob’s handbag, and the intrinsic value of my excel spreadsheet building skills during a zombie apocalypse. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Your n...

emahlee: around the world in half an hour
http://emahlee.blogspot.com/2011/08/around-world-in-half-hour.html
View my complete profile. Around the world in half an hour. Ugh It's Monday again. This Monday is especially unwelcomed since I worked over twenty hours during the weekend. My back is strained from being glued to my desk. Here are some videos that kept me entertained during my breaks:. Here are 3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage, amounting to three amazing short films. MOVE. Is my favourite, but EAT.
